Known for its beautiful natural surroundings on the
southern tip of the Puget Sound in Washington, few know there is a rich history
that makes Lacey what it is today. Lacey was once proudly home to the
first mile-long sulky oval horseracing track west of Kentucky. It boasted
stables for 50 horses, a grandstand, judges’ stand and a two-story clubhouse
with 12 rooms. Inspired by the cart jockey, Callen is a passionate force pursuing
a dream. A place that brings people together. A place where unexpected things
happen. A quiet
gem with a rich history and endless stories waiting to be told. At Callen, it isn’t just
about getting there, but how you make the journey.
